June 30, 2010 - OSSTF/FEESO has successfully completed negotiations with the Government of Ontario to secure funding to increase salaries for Early Childhood Educators in Ontario School Boards. Early Childhood Educators that are, or become members of OSSTF/FEESO, can now expect a guaranteed higher salary along with a comprehensive health and dental plan as part of an OSSTF/FEESO collective agreement. This government funding negotiated by OSSTF/FEESO is guaranteed to be used by school boards as salary and staffing funding, improving the ability for OSSTF/FEESO to negotiate excellent hours of work and vacation entitlement.
