The 2010 Educational Services Committee’s biennial conference will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Toronto Airport.
This year’s conference will be held over two days with Keynote Speakers and workshops being offered on Thursday October 28th and Friday October 29th, 2010.
As the Keynote Speaker on Thursday, award winning journalist, Jesse Brown, will share his influential observations and critique of online culture with participants. His expertise in Social Media has been put into practice as the founder of the user generated cartoon site Bitstrips – now licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education to teach literacy.
Syndicated columnist and award winner, Marc Saltzman, promises to provide a keynote address on Friday that will speak to those new to technology as well as those experienced in its use in education.
Tools & Toys…Technology in Education, will offer delegates a wide spectrum of workshops about the impact and use of technology. Introductory and advanced level workshop will be offered in many areas with select workshops being delivered in French.
