Chris Chandler
Executive Officer

Chris Chandler, a teacher from D12 Toronto, is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Toronto. Since joining OSSTF, Chris has served in and been part of numerous many local and provincial roles: Bargaining Unit Vice-President and Executive Officer, Staffing and Grievance Officer, Provincial Councilor, Member of the Employee Life and health Trust Advisory Work Group, Member of the Organizing for Better Schools, Stronger Communities Work Group, Chair of the Health and Safety/Workplace safety and Insurance Act Committee, and Communications and Political Action Committee.

Chris is committed to working with community partners and engaging all members of OSSTF/FEESO to build strong coalitions in the defense of quality, fully funded public education. Chris believes that a vibrant labour movement lies at the core of a just society, and he is dedicated to inclusive, healthy, safe, and sustainable public schools and post-secondary institutions.
