The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) serves a total of active and retired membership of over 260,000.

OSSTF/FEESO represents the interests of approximately 40,000 contributors to the OTPP through the member plan sponsor, the Ontario Teachers’ Federation.

In the Annual Action Plan, approved by AMPA 2009, the Provincial Executive proposed OSSTF/FEESO develop materials designed to educate members regarding the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. This is the final issue of a series of papers being developed.

The 95/20 rule is retiring and beginning September 1, 2012, every retiree will be permitted 50 days of re-employment in each school year. 

Last week, representatives of the Ontario Teachers’ Federation met with Maude Barlow and four members of the Council of Canadians to discuss the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan’s investment in water and sewage systems in Chile.
