IT Database Analyst
OSSTF/FEESO is seeking the services of an individual to serve as IT Database Analyst. This is a unionized position.
The IT Database Analyst position provides system analysis and design support for OSSTF/FEESO database and web based applications, including vendor liaison during implementation, programming support, troubleshooting, system upgrades and operational support for all database maintenance functions, while ensuring integrity, stability and accessibility and maintaining the database environment, in accordance with industry best practices and in accordance with the policies of OSSTF/FEESO and applicable legislation.
This position will have direct accountability to the Director of the Department. The deadline for receiving applications is Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
Articling Student (10 Month Contract)
OSSTF/FEESO is seeking the services of an individual to serve as Articling Student starting August 2018. This is a unionized position.
The OSSTF/FEESO legal department specializes in education labour law on behalf of 60,000 English and French education workers who are employees of school boards, universities and other educational institutions in Ontario. Articling work would involve litigation and legal support in the areas of: Grievance Arbitration and Labour Board matters, Human Rights, Employment Standards, Workers' Safety and Insurance, Long Term Disability, Occupational Health and Safety, Civil Litigation, Pensions and Collective Bargaining. OSSTF encourages applications from students with a demonstrated interest in union side labour law.
