Fall Economic Statement - Repeat
Finance Minister Dwight Duncan will release his Fall Economic Statement on October 22nd. It is expected to project a deficit in excess of $20 billion.
Status of Legislation
Bill 177, Student Achievement and School Board Governance Act, 2009 was moved to the Committee on Social Policy on October 7th. The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Monday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 27, 2009.
The Provincial Office has already asked for standing on this bill.
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 177 should contact the Committee Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009.
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Committee Clerk at the address below by 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 29, 2009.
