Jeff Denys
Treasurer

Jeff Denys is a teacher with the Avon Maitland District School Board and was re-elected as the treasurer for the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/FEESO) in 2025. Jeff was first elected to the Provincial Executive as treasurer in 2021.

Jeff began his membership service philosophy in the early days of his career over 25 years ago. He served the local OSSTF/FEESO membership in various capacities, including as president and treasurer at both the Bargaining Unit and District levels in District 8 – Avon Maitland. Jeff was a member of the provincial Finance Committee for seven years prior to becoming provincial treasurer. Jeff serves the membership on several committees, including Benevolent Council and the OMERS advisory workgroup. In the past, he has also served on Judicial Council, the Protective Services Committee, CPAC, and the Long-Term Disability Advisory Workgroup.

Jeff is passionate about community advocacy and service, and member support and representation. He is a long-standing member of the Huron and District Labour Council and is a proud volunteer firefighter in his community.
