MyGSA and Good2Talk
Although MyGSA is Canada's website for safer and inclusive schools for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) community, it is also part of the EGALE Human Trust Fund and assembles a wealth of information in one central location.  This website provides resources for students, educators and parents alike.    One can find quick references and guides as well as lesson plans, activities and projects.  Patience and common sense will serve you well as you discover the widest possible array of resources.  The links are solid and the material is updated and refreshed often. This is a great place to start to gather resources related to LGBTQ issues and interests.
Good2Talk is a toll-free line to support post-secondary students (ages 17-25) who are struggling with their mental health. Much like Kids Help Phone, Good2Talk provides free and confidential 24-hour assistance to youth who are dealing with issues such as anxiety and depression, as well as problems with substance use and addictions. They offer anonymous counselling over the phone and also provide information or referrals to other services and supports as needed. Members working in the university sector can refer students to www.good2talk.ca or post their toll-free number (1-866-925-5454).
