The OSSTF/FEESO 2SLGBTQIA+ Impact Award shall be presented annually to an Active Member or a group of OSSTF/FEESO Active Members who have shown exemplary impact in the struggle for equity and the promotion of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and activism locally, provincially, and/or internationally.
Submitting an Application
The deadline for nominations is January 31 and must be submitted online by clicking on the Nomination Form link below.
The electronic form features file upload capability. You may submit attachments no larger than 20 MB. Each file should be no more than 3MB. If you submit your online form with attachments over 20 MB, you will arrive at a Page Not Found error. If your attachments are large, we recommend you email them to nancy.desjardins@osstf.ca or mail them to Vanessa Stoby. Eligible applications that were not chosen in the current year will be held for one (1) year after their initial submission for consideration in the following year.

Criteria
The Provincial 2SLGBTQIA+ Committee will consider the following criteria:
- Evidence of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights dedication at the local, provincial, and/or international level
- Evidence of a strong impact for social justice and intersectional equity
Disclaimer
The 2SLGBTQIA+ Committee will determine which, if any, candidate will receive the award based on the established criteria. The 2SLGBTQIA+ Committee reserves the right not to grant the award in any given year.
Nominations

All Active Members of OSSTF/FEESO except for current 2SLGBTQIA+ Committee members. |

Provide concrete examples of relevant work accomplished to support the nomination. |
| Where will the presentation occur? |
Annual Meeting of the Provincial Assembly (AMPA) |
| How will the winner be notified? |
A staff member assigned to the award will contact the nominator before the award ceremony to obtain the winner’s contact information. Only winning entries will be contacted. |
| Publicity |
OSSTF/FEESO may publicize the contributions of the award winner in its publications. |
