Studies, Reports, External Resources

OSSTF/FEESO is strongly committed to supporting and promoting evidence-informed practices in public education. We believe evidence-informed decision-making is the best way to ensure a safe and rewarding workplace for members and, as importantly, a robust and world-class education system for students. We act on this commitment, in part, by producing and supporting original research. OSSTF/FEESO commissions studies, partners with independent researchers and undertakes our own studies. This page provides access to a wide range of research resources.

Please take some time to explore the sections found below. The “Studies” section includes original research that was produced, supported or commissioned by OSSTF/FEESO. Under the “Reports” section, you will find the results of work by OSSTF/FEESO’s working groups, committees, and councils. Finally, under the “External Resources” section we have provided links to the research homes of education unions from across Canada. We hope you will find the resources on this page to be interesting and useful and that you will share them with other supporters of a strong public education system.
