• Common Threads

  Common Threads is the name of our international solidarity program. A team of OSSTF/FEESO members travels in the summer to research a social justice issue and then spends the year designing new curriculum.

  An annotated bibliography of several publications dealing with Differentiated Instruction and address issues of curriculum development, lesson planning, instruction and assessment.

• Shout Out Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Transphobia and Heterosexism

  This booklet designed to educate young people on issues relating to sexual orientation and gender identity.  Included in the publication is a series of autobiographical stories describing the first-hand experiences of those challenged by these issues, as well as educational information and resources.

• Still Not Laughing

  Still Not Laughing – A Resource List is a bilingual annotated bibliography which serves as a reference for a wide range of resources including curriculum and program ideas, interactive websites, support services, government documents, audio-visual materials and advocacy opportunities. Still Not Laughing – A Toolkit for Action is a bilingual resource book which begins with a look at current challenges and legislation related to sexual and gender-based harassment in our schools, both as learning environments and as workplaces. Subsequent sections offer a framework for developing effective strategies aimed at changing attitudes and behaviour, as well as some ideas that can be used as a starting point for action.
