November 18, 2020 — The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation is deeply saddened to learn of the death of a child and youth worker from the Toronto Catholic District School Board after contracting COVID-19. 

This tragic loss compounds the emotional and trauma-related dangers that have already been mounting on workers and communities since the start of this global pandemic. OSSTF/FEESO joins with education workers from around the province in sharing our deep condolences with the families, friends, and colleagues. As the Toronto Catholic District School Board community begins to grieve, OSSTF/FEESO sends sympathies and support to all those affected by this loss.
