k2i academy: Teacher Resources

The k2i (Kindergarten to Industry) academy of York University’s Lassonde School of Engineering has developed STEM teaching resources for both Grade 9 De-streamed Science and Grade 10 Computer Studies. The resources were shared with the OSSTF/FEESO Educational Services Department, reviewed by members of the Educational Services Committee, and found to be well-designed and potentially of interest to members.

Grade 9 Science Resources – Curriculum-connected lesson plans, activities, and assessments that bring real-world engineering and technology into the science classroom, supporting inquiry-based learning and student engagement.

Grade 10 Computer Studies Resources – Hands-on learning modules and teacher supports that introduce students to computer science concepts, coding, and problem-solving, with a focus on creativity and inclusivity in digital learning.
